It's Official! We've filed a charter amendment for a real $15/hr minimum wage. 68% of Seattle support a $15/hr minimum wage without exemptions or loopholes. The City Council will be debating a minimum wage ordinance based on the Mayor's recommendation but if the politicians fail to deliver we can put it to the people of Seattle to vote to end poverty wages.
We are on the verge of making history in Seattle but we haven't won yet. We need your help to collect enough signatures to get our amendment on the ballot in November. Let's show the big corporations what we're made of by mobilizing a powerful grassroots campaign to vote for 15.
